This guide will show you how to seamlessly change colors & materials, allowing you to create the perfect collection.

Step by step guide

To change the colors, textures, and materials of your designs, follow these steps:

Open the AI tool

  1. Go to Fermat.app and log into your account.

  2. Open:

Upload your design

Upload the design that you want to refine.

Define the changes

Define how you want to restyle it.

Example: Oversize cropped long sleeve shirt, abstract black & white linen print, side pocket. Off-white background

Optionally, you can click the blue magic wand button to refine your description. Alternatively, upload a reference image and press the same button to analyze it and generate an accurate description based on the attached image.

Adjust shape preservation

Define how much the AI model should follow your reference. This means:

  • A lower value gives the AI more creative freedom, meaning it may deviate from your design and introduce new elements.

  • A higher value ensures that the AI keep every detail of your design.

Generate image

Click the 'Generate' button and let the AI process your inputs. Within seconds, you will have your new design refined.

(Optional) Paint a specific area

For more accurate results, you can paint the area that you want to edit on your original design. To do this, go to the 'Magic Brush' page.

(Optional) Specify Hex or Pantone color

The AI can apply a specific HEX color value to your new design.
