In this guide, we will take you step-by-step through the process of effortlessly creating custom backdrops for your photoshoots, all at zero cost, giving you the flexibility to bring your vision to life within your budget.

Step by step guide

To generate backdrops and apply your product on it, follow these steps:

Open the AI tool

• Go to Fermat.app and log in to your account.

• Open: 'Image generation' tool

Enter your prompt

Provide a text description of the backdrop you want. Learn more how to write a good prompt.

Example: A serene still life scene with various geometric pieces of raw and polished marble in shades of white and light gray, artistically arranged to cast soft, elongated shadows on a plain light-colored background, emphasizing the texture and form of the stone blocks.

Optionally, you can click the blue magic wand button to refine your description. Alternatively, upload a reference image and press the same button to analyze it and generate an accurate description based on the attached image.

Define aspect ratio

• Aspect ratio: 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 5:4, 4:5

(Optional) Upload the reference image

You can upload a reference image to guide the AI, enabling it to capture the composition, lighting, shading, and other visual elements with precision.

(Optional) Deviation parameter

Define how much the AI model should follow your reference image. This means:

• A lower value allows the AI more creative freedom, meaning it may deviate from your reference and introduce new elements.

• A higher value ensures the AI closely follows your reference, preserving more details.

Generate render

Click on the 'Generate' button and let the AI process your inputs. In a few seconds, you will have your new backdrop.

Review the output and, if necessary, refine the prompt or upload a reference image for better results.
