Investigate an existing problem, understand it, and come up with solutions.
The ideation template is designed to help you investigate an existing problem, understand it, and come up with creative and effective solutions.
Using our step-by-step guide together with AI-powered tools along the way will help you to better understand the problem space, organize your content and help break you out of creative roadblocks.
It's perfect for design researchers and anyone trying to understand the problem space and address it.
In this template we can find these sections:
  1. 1.
The first section is where you start to zero in on your problem. If you have a design brief you can place that here or go much broader and write down multiple problem areas you want to tackle. By the way, the AI can listen to all information that appears inside the "scratchpad area" and execute some actions like summarizing content in this case, this is useful if you have different fragments related to the same problem.
  2. 2.
The second section consists to reframe the problem by defining a "how might we?" question of your challenge and define the key outcomes that you want to achieve.
  3. 3.
Then, in the solution ideation section, where you should generate solutions for the problem, you can use AI that helps you with this task and also a timer where you should track the time that you will need to do the session. once you have some ideas, it's time to cluster them and discuss them.
  4. 4.
The next one consists to find the winning solution, in this section we can find a scratchpad that allows you to compare different ideas with criteria that you put yourself, i.e. which of these ideas is more effective? This kit contains different tools that allow you to analyze your ideas in different ways.
  5. 5.
After it, in the next section, you can generate the journey map of your final idea and understand the user flow through your idea. You can also visualize this journey map through images with the help of the "visualize concept" AI button.
  6. 6.
Finally, you can make a summary of your session and get everyone on the same page about your exploration. On the other hand, you can warp up your session through an AI button and send this document to team members who weren't able to make it stakeholders, or bosses who didn't have time to come to the whole session and anyone else who wants a quick rundown of the session in what you came up with.
Happy problem-solving!
